The search of the home is related to the case of Eric Vincent Torrez, a 41-year-old Abilene man who has been missing since Friday, Sheriff David Jones told San Angelo LIVE!

On Tuesday, Abilene police told KTXS that Torrez could possibly be in danger. On Wednesday, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said he could be a “victim of foul play.”

Torrez, a former resident of Sweetwater who recently moved to Abilene, was headed to San Angelo to bid on a job before he was reported missing.

According to his sister Victoria De Loera, Torrez moved to Abilene a few months ago from Sweetwater.

De Loera said Torrez was a self-employed contractor who did concrete floors and countertops.

In addition, she said he hasn't answered any phone calls or texts since Friday.
