Jay Dee Burns, 45, former director of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce, was sentenced to 60 years in prison pleaded guilty.  He pleaded guilty to four counts of improper relationship between an educator and student, three counts of sexual assault, one count of indecency with a child and one count of stalking. He had been working as a social studies steachers and academic coach at Permian High School in Odessa.
