Jay Todd Spitzer, 25, of Abilene was arrested during July 2014 for alleged prescription fraud and possession of multiple illegal substances. Police say Spitzer was found in possession of 55 grams of Hydrocodone bitartrate, 2.6 grams of Propoxyphene Napsylate, 22.4 grams of Promethazine and 9.9 grams of Alprazolam. The report also states that Spitzer had an additional 76.8 grams of Hydrocodone and 14.4 grams of Promethazine with him that were obtained fraudulently.

According to police, Spitzer was arrested and charged with third-degree degree felony prescription fraud and possession of a controlled substance, Hydrocodone. Additionally, Spitzer was charged with a Class A misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possible dangerous drug, Primathazine.
