Dyess airman Terry Rae Fesler was one of eight people arrested over the weekend in Jones County after shots were fired with semi-automatic weapons near Hawley, according to the sheriff’s office.
Fesler was charged with deadly conduct discharge of firearm, a third-degree felony, the sheriff's office said.
Residents along County Road 418 called to complain about what was transpiring on neighboring property.
A neighbor told deputies her home was struck several times, and her car was hit at least once. Deputies arrived to find the damage, and then arrested the eight men for shooting in the direction of the home and car.
The owner of the property where the shots were fired told KTXS eight military members were hog hunting and that, shortly after, attempted to shoot off the remainder of their ammunition.
