Here are mugshots of area people who have run afoul of the law recently.

Kenneth Mark McWilliams

An Abilene man was sentenced in March 2013 to 20 years in prison for using Molotov cocktails to start a fire at the convenience store where his ex-wife worked then shooting her as she fled the flames.
Prosecutors said Kenneth Mark McWilliams was sentenced in federal court. The woman survived the 2010 attack when Abilene police rushed to the scene and intervened.
The 54-year-old McWilliams has been in custody since his arrest following the incident. He pleaded guilty last year to one count of maliciously damaging a building by fire resulting in a personal injury.

Prosecutors say McWilliams used a shotgun to shoot the woman as she exited the store, then used a stun gun to shock her and a rope to tie her. Police then subdued McWilliams.
