Man finds $4.8M lotto ticket in cookie jar
Ricardo Cerezo was cleaning out jar when he found winning ticket
What's better than a cookie in a cookie jar?
A $4.85 million winning lottery ticket if you're Ricardo Cerezo in Illinois.
Cerezo, of Geneva, was cleaning out a cookie jar filled with old lottery tickets when he came across a winner that made him a multimillionaire, Chicago TV station WGN reported.
"When I realized we had all six numbers, it was like whoa, that shocking moment like can this really be? I called my son over and asked him to double check this," Cerezo told WGN. "And he looks it through and goes, 'Yup, looks like a winner.'"
Facing foreclosure, Cerezo said he'll use the winnings to pay off his home.
