The driver of an oil field service truck lost control of his rig Monday night and crashed into the Hodges Baptist church.
The accident happened about 6:45 Monday evening. The DPS told us the driver missed the curve on County Road 605 and plowed into the church.
No one was in the church at the time. The truck hit the part of the building that contains a classroom.
The truck driver and his passenger were injured . Both were taken to Hendrick Medical Center. One of the men had a broken arm. The truck was owned by Sojourner Drilling of Abilene.
Workers got the truck out of the building just before 9 p.m. Monday.
