FRISCO, Texas (AP) -

Police in a north Dallas suburb say they've detained a suspect in the overnight shootings of two people.

Frisco police spokesman Colby Hill said in a statement Monday morning that officers were called to a home at about 2 a.m. after shots were heard.

They found one man and one woman dead, as well as what Hill described as a "known suspect."

Hill didn't identify the suspect or the two people shot.

Frisco is 25 miles north of downtown Dallas.
