Rain totals: Line of storms moved through Abilene, Big Country overnight

ABILENE, Texas - A line of storms moved through overnight and brought much-needed rainfall to the Big Country.

In Abilene, rain totals ranged from 0.58' to 0.72" at the city's eight fire stations, according to an email from the city.

As of Wednesday morning, other reported rain totals in the area included:

*- Dyess Air Force Base collected 0.5".

*- Snyder and Sweetwater collected between 0.25" and 0.5".

*- Down in Brownwood and Coleman, they collected about 0.4". 

*- San Angelo reported about 0.5".

*- Out in Eastland, they saw about 0.5".

*- Sites in Knox and King counties reported 0.7". 

Several other locations saw at least 0.1" overnight. 

Abilene Regional Airport went down and did not collect rainfall between midnight and approximately 3 a.m. Wednesday.
