San Angelo man, 34, sentenced to federal prison for child porn

LUBBOCK, Texas - A 34-year-old San Angelo man has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to one count of accessing with intent to view child pornography and one count of transportation of child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings sentenced Nicholas Daniel Glass to 293 months in prison Friday.  Glass had pleaded guilty to the charges in March 2016.

"According to documents filed in his case, Glass used his cellular telephone and a laptop computer to possess and access images of one or more minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct," a news release said Tuesday.

"In or about July 2015 Glass sent images to persons on the Internet depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.  He also requested and received an image of child pornography from another Internet user in the course of his communications."
