FLORESVILLE, Texas (AP) -

A South Texas school bus driver has been disciplined after being heard calling a sobbing student "crybaby" and urging other children to chime in and mock the girl.

KSAT-TV reported Tuesday that the Floresville Elementary School bus driver invited other students to chant "Cry, cry cry" at the upset girl.

The onboard bus video and audio were obtained by the San Antonio television station. School district officials Wednesday did not immediately provide additional information on the recordings.

The name of the driver hasn't been released. School officials didn't immediately say why the student was crying in the March incident.

Floresville Independent School District Superintendent Sherri Bays said the bus driver's actions were not appropriate. Bays declined to say how the driver has been disciplined.
