An accident at the intersection of Hwy 603 and FM 18 in Callahan County sent one person to a Big Country hospital. The accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Callahan County Sheriff said contrary to initial scanner reports, neither car caught on fire after the accident. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
