George Levesque

George Levesque has lived his life right here in the Big Country.

He was born in Colorado City in 1972 and lived there till High School Graduation in 1990.

George graduated from McMurry University in 1996 with a degree in Theatre and a minor in Political Science. While in college he got his start as a radio disc jockey. After graduation George started an AM daily talk show. He did that show for five years.

In early 2000 George joined KTXS as a sports reporter. Then, January first of 2003 George took over the helm of "KTXS This Morning", Abilene's most-watched morning news program.

George was recently named News Director of all KTXS Stations and he will continue to serve KTXS as co-anchor of "KTXS Live at Five".

George has won several Texas Associated Press Broadcasters awards for jounalism. George's wife, Sidney, is a reporter for the Abilene Reporter-News.
