Chrissie started her television career tens years ago at the ABC affiliate in Beaumont and is proud to be a part of the KTXS team. She joined the KTXS team in July as weekend anchor and a short three months later was promoted to 6pm anchor on October 15th and was recently named 6 & 10 anchor this past March.

Chrissie was born and raised in Orange, Texas attending West Orange Stark High School and  Lamar University in Beaumont .  She has received numerous accolades from the Southeast Texas Press Club for her coverage of stories such as Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Katrina.   Chrissie is also a published poet and an avid writer in many forms.  In her spare time, she enjoys painting, dancing, playing the piano, singing, photography, and fishing.
