KTXS News Anchor Wayne McCormick
Wayne has been the 6/10 anchor since 1992. For 12 years he also hosted the weekly KTXS Academic Challenge show that featured high school academic teams. MORE

Braid Blanks, was born and raised in Abilene with close ties all around the Big Country. Braid began her television career as a producer at KTXS in 2002 and became a reporter before she left briefly to join KLTV in Tyler as a weekend anchor. MORE

KTXS News Anchor George Levesque
George Levesque has lived his entire life right here in the Big Country. He was born in Colorado City in 1972 and lived there until high school graduation in 1990. MORE

Mari Cockerell is happy to be back in the Big Country anchoring KTXS This Morning. She first came to Abilene in 2003, serving as KTXS 6 and 10 p.m. co-anchor (then Mari Hayes). MORE

Cassandra is excited to make Abilene her new home. She grew up on the south side of San Antonio and always aimed for big goals. MORE

Michelle Frizalone is excited to begin her broadcasting career in Abilene, Texas. MORE

Weather Team

KTXS Chief Meteorologist, Mark Rowlett
Mark was born and raised in Corpus Christi, where hurricanes made a big impression on him – especially Hurricane Celia in 1970. "I wanted to learn how nature takes sunshine, air and water and creates lightning and 150-plus mph winds," he says. Mark Rowlett returned to Texas in August 2009 to join KTXS as chief meteorologist. Casey James is from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and was born on Texas Independence Day. MORE

Ashlei King is a military brat who was born in Italy, but spent most of her life in Schertz, a suburb of San Antonio. MORE

Roger is a native Texan who hails from San Antonio. He is glad to join the KTXS News team as a reporter and producer. MORE

Brittany Molinar is a proud West Texan, who joined the KTXS News team in March 2011. MORE

KTXS News Jocelyn Tovar
Jocelyn Tovar joined KTXS in November 2009 as the station’s city reporter. She moved into her role as crime and courts reporter after one year and during this time has covered numerous high profile cases and led coverage with many exclusive KTXS stories. MORE

Bryan Keating joined the KTXS sports team in April 2007. MORE

KTXS News Anchor Mike Skow
Mike Skow made the transition from news to sports in September 2010. He joined KTXS News as a weekend anchor and reporter in April 2008, and is originally from Tucson, Ariz. MORE

Brandon Ortega comes to Abilene from Southern California and is thrilled to be a part of the KTXS family as our sports reporter/photographer. MORE
