Sanctions against Penn State

The NCAA has imposed severe sanctions on Penn State in light of the child abuse scandal and alleged cover-up that has rocked the university and its football program.

A $60 million fine. According to the NCAA, that amount is “equivalent to the average gross annual revenue of the football program.”
