Goalie Michael Houser, who was named the most outstanding player in the Ontario Hockey League this past season while playing for the London Knights, signed an entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers, the Knights announced through Twitter.

Houser had a 2.47 goals-against average this season, had six shutouts and a .925 save percentage while playing in 62 of London's 68 games.

Houser, 19, came to London, which is located in Ontario, as a free agent in 2009-10. He was passed over twice during in the OHL draft, partly because he has a club foot.
