ABILENE, Texas -

Almost exactly a year after Wylie knocked off Argyle on the road in week 0 in 2012, the Eagles returned the favor in Abilene Friday night.

Argyle came out with a dominant performance in the first half while capitalizing on Bulldog miscues. Wylie turned the ball over twice in their first two possessions, and the Eagles took command of the momentum outscoring the Bulldogs 24-0 in the first half.

Wylie was unable to get any offensive rhythm in the second half, and Argyle would never look back in route to a 38-0 shutout win at Bulldogs stadium.

The Bulldogs fall to 0-1 on the 2013 season.  Wylie will play Bridgeport 7:30pm on Friday September 6th.
