The Winnipeg Jets and defenseman Julien Brouillette agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract worth $600,000, the team announced Friday.
Brouillette, 27, made his NHL debut last season with the Washington Capitals and had one goal and two points in 10 games. He had 10 goals and 20 points in 51 American Hockey League games for Hershey.
Brouillette turned pro as an undrafted free agent and has played 260 AHL games with Providence, Hartford, Charlotte, Lake Erie and Hershey, scoring 22 goals and 70 points. He has played 210 ECHL games with Columbia, Charlotte, Greenville and Reading, scoring 24 goals and 85 points.
