Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Startling Marte is dealing with a family matter in the Dominican Republic and will be out until Monday, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Jose Tabata is starting in left field Saturday against the Chicago Cubs in place of Marte.

Marte is batting .258 with five home runs, 26 RBIs, 34 runs scored and 17 steals this season. He batted .280 in 2013.
