Buddy Walk allows area down syndrome support groups to get together and show support for those living with down syndrome.

Buddy Walk goes from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Satuday, Oct. 13.  It will be held at the Wylie Baptist Church at 6097 Buffalo Gap Rd. It is a free event for all who attend.

Besides the actual walk, there will be many other activities for families to participate in. There will be face painting, a visit from the Chick-fil-A cow, KONA ice, train rides, photo opportunites, pony rides, a jump house, and a fire truck. Music will be provided by J.B. Cloud from 99.7.

The Upside Down Club is a down syndrome support group. The West Texas Rehab Center and the National Down Syndrome Society are also sponsoring Buddy Walk.
