We are expecting highs on Friday to be much cooler with about a 20 degree temperature drop from Thursday.
The cold front that moved through Thursday night has left the Big Country with breezy northeast winds from 10-20 mph Friday and highs near 50 degrees in Abilene.
Overnight temperatures will fall to the upper 20s with a mostly clear sky and light north winds.
It will be mostly sunny on Saturday with temperatures returning to near average at 60 degrees.
A strengthening pressure gradient will create windy conditions Sunday out of the southwest from 20-30 mph.
This will help warm temperatures to around 70 by Sunday afternoon.
