Julie Phillips: 90 degree temperature streak begins Thursday
Triple digits possible Friday
Temperatures will reach into the 90s Thursday and are expected to stay there into next week.
It will be partly cloudy and in the mid 90s on Thursday with relatively light winds still in place.
With the dryline setting up across the region Thursday afternoon we keep a 10% chance of afternoon storms in the forecast.
Mostly clear and very mild near 70 Thursday with light southeast winds.
Friday could mark the first day we hit triple digits this year in Abilene.
Temps should be right around the century mark on Friday with southwest winds at 10-15 mph and a mostly sunny sky.
Storm chances return to the region on Saturday.
