April storms bring beneficial rain, but also hail, a little sleet
The storms and cooler air that moved into the Big Country Tuesday night brought beneficial rain, but also a few severe storms and even sleet.
Severe storms dropped up to quarter size hail in a few places like Potosi and widespread small hail was seen across the Big Country.
With temperatures around the freezing mark sleet also made its way through the Big Country and points north.
Thankfully with temperatures as warm as they have been freezing roadways should not be a problem. You may need to defrost your car though this morning depending on where you live.
Here's a look at some of the rainfall totals we've seen as of 9 am.
