Arctic air staying north and east
We are tracking a cold front into our region Thursday night. No precipitation is occurring with the front in our area. Look for increasing northeast winds with low temperatures around 30 Friday morning.
This cold front is just the "edge" of the really cold arctic air that covers the central U.S. Thursday night. The little surge of colder air is forecast to slide off to the east of us by Friday afternoon.
Sunny skies and increasing south winds should push temperatures back into the lower 60s for Friday afternoon.
We are tracking another cold front that should move in Saturday morning and move through our region before sunset Saturday. This front is also expected to move through dry. Look for mostly sunny skies with high temperatures Saturday in the lower 60s.
Clouds are forecast to increase from west to east Sunday. Still, high temperatures should reach the 60s.
Two more dry cold fronts are expected to move into our region on Monday and Tuesday. Look for lows around 40 and highs in the 60s through midweek.
