A cold start to 2012 is expected after a cold front rolled through the Big Country early New Years morning.
Temperatures are in the lower 30s New Years morning and we did track some drizzle and patchy fog in our southeastern areas.
With northwest winds anticipated at 10-15 mph temperatures are expected to stay in the lower 40s.
It will be partly cloudy and bitter cold in the lower 20s Tuesday night.
It will be partly cloudy Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the mid 40s.
North winds continue through Thursday keeping temperatures chilly in the upper 40s.
More cloud cover rolls in Thursday and with a passing disturbance there is a slight chance very light showers and drizzle.
