Heavy rainfall brought flooding and large rainfall totals to the Big Country Friday and those heavy rains are not letting up on Saturday.
We saw widespread rainfall totals on Friday anywhere from one to three inches with isolated rainfall totals up to six inches.
Heavy rain is still falling over much of the Big Country Saturday causing flooding concerns.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in place until 7 p.m. Saturday for mainly the Concho Valley and Heartland region as they will continue to see rain through Saturday night.

In Abilene we have now had over six inches of rain in September and over 20 inches of rain this year.
At the beginning of September the rainfall deficit for the year in Abilene had fallen to over three inches, but this heavy rainfall has boosted us to above normal for the year!
