Big changes coming on Monday with high winds, cold temperatures and even light snow possible in the northern portions of the Big Country.
We are tracking an upper level storm system that will move through north Texas Monday.
It will bring blizzard like conditions from the Texas Panhandle through the Midwest.
Northern portions of the Big Country generally north of I-20 will see a light rain/snow mix today with little in the way of accumulation because of the above freezing temps we are forecasting.
Blowing snow may create tough travel in our far northern counties like Knox and King.
The majority of the region will see these strong winds as well out of the northwest from 20-40 mph with gusts even higher.
High wind warnings and wind advisories remain in effect through the evening.
The storm system moves east away from us allowing for a clearing sky with temps down into the low 30s.
Temperatures will be a good deal warmer on Tuesday back into the upper 50s.
