Julie Phillips: Enjoy the warmth Monday before a cold front moves in overnight
We should see temperatures reach near record warmth on Monday, but these temps won't last long for the Big Country.
It will be partly cloudy on Monday with breezy west winds at 15-25 mph expected.
Temperatures will reach into the mid 80s Monday afternoon as the winds continue to bring in warmer air ahead of our next cold front.
With warm, dry and breezy conditions expected Monday avoid outdoor burning or doing anything that could potentially start a fire.
Monday night a cold front moves in dropping temps to the mid to upper 30s with strong north winds expected at 20-25 mph.
It will be sunny and cool on Tuesday with highs remaining in the upper 50s with breezy north winds.
It will be mostly sunny on Wednesday with highs back into the low 60s as southerly flow returns to the region.
