Milder weather returns to the Big Country on Tuesday after a winter-like day on Monday.
Temperatures are cold Tuesday morning near 30 degrees, but are expected to reach back to about 60 degrees in Abilene.
Winds will be much lighter as well out of the northwest from 5-15 mph with a mostly sunny sky.
We keep it mostly clear Tuesday night with north winds at 5-10 mph as a reinforcing cold front moves in.
This front will bring temperatures down to around 30, but won't have the moisture to bring us any precipitation.
Temperatures stay cooler on Wednesday in the lower 50s with a mostly sunny sky and breezy northwest winds.
Temperatures stay below average in the mid 50s through the end of the week.
