Julie Phillips: Rain moves out, sunshine moves back in
Temps will warm through the weekend
As the rain and cloud cover moves out on Thursday, sunshine and warmer temperatures will return to the forecast for the rest of the week.
Look for a clearing sky on Thursday with highs in the low 60s and northwest winds at 5-15 mph.
The upper level storm system that brought us the cool and wet weather the past few days moves east bringing a risk stormy weather to our friends in the southeast.
A clear sky is expected Thursday night with chilly temps down into the low 40s.
It will be mostly sunny on Friday with highs in the mid 70s as southerly flow brings back in some warmer air.
We continue to heat up this weekend with warm temps in the 80s, lots of sunshine and breezy conditions.
