We will be tracking springlike weather across the Big Country Thursday with warm and windy conditions in the forecast.
It will be partly sunny on Thursday with highs in the mid 80s with strong southwest winds expected at 20-30 mph.
A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect from 10 am to 7 pm for much of the viewing area.
A disturbance will move into North Texas and the dryline will move into our area bringing storm chances to areas around and to the northeast of Abilene.
Partly cloudy Thursday night with temps down to around 50 with south winds from 10-15 mph.
A cold front will work it's way into the Big Country Friday with temps dropping into the mid 60s in Abilene, but staying warmer in the 70s in our southern counties.
Saturday we all warm into the mid 70s. but with another passing disturbance there is a slight chance of showers in our eastern counties Saturday morning.
