The chance of light snow moves back into the forecast later this week.
Quiet weather remains in place though for Wednesday with a few clouds around and chilly temps in the mid to upper 40s.
It will be mostly clear Wednesday night with a hard freeze and lows in the lower 20s.
More cloud cover moves back in on Thursday with an approaching upper level storm system.
This will keep temperatures in the mid 40s Thursday with light northeast winds.
This system will support light snow Thursday night into Friday morning with a mix of snow/rain possible in the Heartland.
As of now expect less than an inch of snow which could cause some minor travel difficulties.
The storm system clears out by noon on Friday leaving the Big Country with a cloudy sky and temps in the mid 40s still.
This weekend temperatures return closer to average in the lower 50s with some clouds around on Saturday.
