After a couple of soggy days only a few showers remain on the radar early Thursday morning.
Any showers will be out of the area by late morning and temperatures will be able to make it into the mid 50s by the afternoon.
Winds will be breezy out of the southwest from 10-20 mph Thursday with some sunshine returning by the afternoon hours.
Thursday night temps will stay mild in the mid 40s with south winds at 10-15 mph.
We keep a partly cloudy sky in the forecast Friday with much warmer temperatures thanks to strong south winds returning.
Look for highs ranging from the upper 60s to lower 70s across the region.
The next cold front we're tracking moves in early Saturday though and will keep highs at only 50 Saturday with slight rain chances south and east of Abilene.
Expect chilly temperatures mainly in the 40s Sunday through much of next week.
