Temperatures will continue to warm on Wednesday reaching into the mid 70s by the afternoon.
Some patchy fog is developing especially in the western portions of the Big Country Wednesday morning.
A fog advisory is in place for Mitchell and Scurry counties until 10 a.m.
Breezy southwest winds at 10-20 mph will be what helps temps reach well above average levels.
It will be mostly clear and mild Wednesday night with temps down into the upper 40s.
Thursday we will track a cold front into the region it looks like a bit after noon in Abilene.
Look for highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s ahead of the front with temps falling behind it.
The cooler air will keep temps in the mid 50s on Friday.
