We are tracking a line of thunderstorms moving into the western Texas Panhandle Wednesday evening. This line of thunderstorms is forecast to march eastward and move through our region between midnight and sunrise Thursday morning. Expect cloud to ground lightning and possible damaging hail from the stronger storms.
Sunshine is back for the daylight hours Thursday. However, watch out for very strong southwest and west winds at 20-30 mph with gusts to 40 mph possible.
We are tracking another cold front that is forecast to move in Thursday night. This front will bring back much colder weather to our region for Friday morning. Look for lows in the upper 20s Friday morning.
Partly cloudy skies are forecast for Friday with high temperatures only in the lower 50s. A light freeze is possible for Saturday morning.
Milder temperatures are expected for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 60s.
