We keep quiet weather in the forecast Friday with increasing storm chances this weekend.
The cold front that moved through Thursday will leave us with cooler air in place Friday.
Highs will top out in the low 60s with a mostly sunny sky and north winds turning east by the afternoon.
Clouds return to the region Friday night with an approaching upper level storm system and keep temps milder near 50.
It will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with temps in the mid to upper 60s with strong southeast winds at 20-25 mph.
The storm system we're tracking will bring a Pacific Cold front through the Big Country Saturday night into very early Sunday morning.
Some of these storms could turn severe so stay alert as we head into this weekend.
By late Sunday morning the front will have cleared the region and temps will be in the mid to upper 60s with a partly cloudy sky.
