High pressure will keep clear skies and cool temperatures in for your Saturday evening and for much of the week ahead.
Sunday starts out in the mid 40s areawide but we'll warm up very quickly with temperatures in the mid 70s by the afternoon. Once again, look for lots of sunshine.
Breezy winds are back in as well Sunday, blowing in from the south between 15 and 20 mph.
For the start of the work week, we're tracking cool temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.
We're tracking a cold front that will make its way into the area during the day Monday. With very little moisture to work with, the front pushes through dry but does bring cooler temps. This will make for a slightly cooler afternoon with highs in the upper 60s.
Things get chilly overnight on Monday and into your Tuesday morning with lows back into the low to mid 30s.
Afternoon temps for your Tuesday are on the cool side, only reaching into the mid to upper 50s.
For Tuesday night, folks in the Heartland are looking at another freeze but the rest of our area will likely only fall into the mid to upper 30s.
We'll see a Hump Day warm-up with highs back into the mid to upper 60s.
Through the rest of the week, sunny skies stay with us with afternoon temps through Friday in the low 70s.
We are tracking a weak cold front that could make for a cool start to the day on Friday with lows in the mid 40s.
Moisture returns in the form of cloud cover by the weekend. No rain chances yet but the mostly cloudy skies will keep Saturday afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
