ABILENE, Texas -

We're tracking mild temps this week but rain chances continue to evade us.

Tonight, we're tracking yet another cold front that will bring about a chilly start to the work week. We'll see clear skies Monday morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.

Monday afternoon, look for highs around 70 degrees with plenty of sunshine. Partly cloudy skies return Monday night with temps cooling into the mid 40s.

Tuesday, we're tracking another mild day with temperatures warming into the low 70s. Cloud cover will increase throughout the day ahead of an approaching disturbance. Cloudy skies stay with us overnight with lows falling to around 50.

Look for cooler air and cloudy skies as the disturbance marches east across the state. We'll warm into the upper 60s before temps drop to the low 50s overnight. Widespread rain chances stay out but we may see some sprinkles in the Concho Valley.

Mostly cloudy skies continue Thursday with the warmest highs of the week. We'll warm to around 80 degrees. We're tracking the chance for some showers and storms as the dryline crosses our area. The chances look best for east Texas but we may see some activity in our eastern counties.

A cold front will sweep through Thursday night with temps cooling into the upper 40s. A reinforcing cold front will move through a few hours later, making for a cooler end to the work week. Highs will only make it into the mid 60s.

Saturday morning starts under clear skies with temps in the upper 30s. We'll warm to around 60 thanks to the cooler air. Sunday morning, lows will be around 40 with highs warming into the upper 60s later that day.
