We are tracking an upper level low pressure area off of the California coast Thursday night. This feature is forecast to move northeast into the central U.S. by Sunday. As it does, we could see a couple of rounds of light showers move into our region late Saturday and again during the day on Sunday.
We are also tracking a cold front that is still forecast to move into our region late Monday. This too should help bring showers and thundershowers to our area Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
Even with all of these chances of rain, rainfall totals will likely stay below 1/4 of an inch for the period from Saturday into Tuesday.
Temperatures should continue cool at night with lows around 40 Friday and Saturday morning. Highs should be in the 60s Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
