After a cool Friday temperatures are expected to warm up through this weekend.
Cloud cover will build in across the Big Country on Friday due to a passing disturbance leaving us with a partly sunny sky.
This upper level disturbance may bring us some sprinkles. but shouldn't amount to much.
Highs will top out near 57 degrees in Abilene before a weak cold front moves into the region in the afternoon.
Behind the front look for breezy north winds from 15-20 mph with gusts expected to be even higher.
Overnight temps will drop back down to the upper 20s with light northwest winds and a clear sky.
It will be mostly sunny and back up to around 60 by Saturday with light northwest winds.
A major warm up should come by Sunday with highs into the mid 70s with strong southwest winds expected from 15-25 mph.
