Temperatures are expected to be well below average to end the week.
A cold front moved through Thursday night leaving us with much colder air in place to start off Friday morning.
The majority of the Big Country is sitting in the upper 20s with north winds from 10-15 mph Friday morning.
With north winds around 10 mph all day highs will likely only reach to about 50 degrees in Abilene.
Friday night will be freezing once again with a mostly clear sky and light winds temperatures will return to the upper 20s and lower 30s.
It will be mostly sunny on Saturday with pleasant temps back into the lower 60s.
It will be partly cloudy and into the upper 60s with strong southwest winds at 20-25 mph on Sunday.
Late Sunday afternoon a cold front will move in dropping temps back down to the mid 50s on Monday.
No showers expected here with that front with all showers and storms expected to be further into East Texas.
