Happy Friday morning! Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast today along with rising temperatures into the lower 80s. West winds will blow from 5-15 mph.
Tonight mainly clear conditions will be with us along with readings falling into the middle 50s by daybreak on Saturday.
Sunny weather is expected for both halves of the weekend. The mercury will rise to near 90 degrees on Saturday and into the lower to middle 90s on Sunday. Southerly winds become breezier through the period from 10-20 mph.
Monday should reach very warm levels in the middle and potentially upper 90s under plentiful sunshine. Southwest winds roll into West Texas at 15-20 mph.
Partly cloudy skies are expected on Tuesday along with continuing heat for the region. Look for middle 90s.
Wednesday and Thursday stay well above normal temperature-wise in the lower 90s. An isolated thunderstorm is possible along a dryline in our eastern counties early Wednesday evening but most areas will stay dry. Thursday looks to hold a slightly better chance of a shower or thunderstorm for a bigger portion of our region during the heat of the day.
