Wow, what a nice weekend! What a warm weekend! We hit a high of 83 on Saturday and 84 on Sunday under lots of sunshine. Big changes should arrive later this week.
Today we are tracking calm weather conditions across West Central Texas. Sunshine through high cloudiness can be expected with temperatures closer to normal in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be from the east at 10-15mph.
Tonight variably cloudy skies will be common in the Big Country. Look for lows in the upper 40s.
On Tuesday a mix of sun and clouds is in the forecast with the mercury working its way to near the 70 degree mark.
Wednesday will yield partly sunny conditions with warmer readings getting into the middle 70s.
Thursday looks to be another above average temperature day with the mercury making a run back into the middle 70s. Partly cloudy weather is expected. A cold front will be approaching later in the evening.
Chances for showers will enter the picture later Thursday through next weekend as much cooler air invades West Texas. Highs will only make it into the lower 50s with breezy northerly winds making it feel very raw.
