Chelsea Humphrey: Hot streak continues for midweek
More hot weather is on tap for the next few days but we're tracking rain chances.
Temperatures will warm into the upper 90s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. South-southwest winds will blow in from 15 to 20 mph. Overnight we'll cool into the low 70s.
More of the same for your Thursday with highs in the upper 90s and mostly sunny skies. Look for partly cloudy skies into Friday morning with lows in the low to mid 70s.
Thie high pressure that's kept the warm weather and clear skies in our forecast will begin to shift east, allowing some moisture to return Friday. We'll see more clouds along with a disturbance that will move in from the south. This disturbance will move in during the late afternoon and evening. The increased cloud cover will keep us a few degrees cooler with highs in the mid 90s.
The rain chances continue into the early morning hours Saturday. We'll see morning temps in the low 70s before warming into the low 90s. Temps will be a few degrees cooler thanks to more cloud cover and scattered t'showers.
It'll dry out through the evening hours Saturday with temps cooling to around 70. High pressure returns Sunday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 90s.
Highs return to the upper 90s through Monday and Tuesday with overnight temps in the low to mid 70s.
