Sunday afternoon and evening looking very good with just partly cloudy skies in the forecast. An isolated shower or thundershower in southern locations such as the Concho Valley could produce a locally heavy downpour. Looking for overnight lows to bottom out around 72 degrees.

Monday looks to start out clear with skies becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon and a lingering 20% chance for a shower or storm in the Concho Valley especially in the afternoon / early evening hours. Temperatures will be up near 94 degrees.

Tuesday appears to be another partly cloudy day with continued slow warming as highs will range in the mid 90s on average across the area. An isolated thundershower could pop in the afternoon hours but expecting most areas will stay dry.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all expected to turn out hot and dry with temperatures ranging from 96-98 degrees. Mostly sunny skies are forecast throughout the period. We do still see a potential cold front that could approach the region later Friday into Saturday which would bring a band of showers and thunderstorms through the area somewhere in that time frame. We will update those rainfall chances as the forecast becomes a little clearer in the days ahead.
