ABILENE, Texas -

Moist air from the Gulf of Mexico continues to move into our region.  This combined with afternoon temperatures in the lower 90s should lead to widely scattered afternoon and early evening thundershowers again Friday.

A similar situation should be found for Saturday.  Watch out for lightning, heavy downpours and possible strong winds in and near the stronger storms.

Even with some afternoon clouds, temperatures should climb into the middle 90s.  Look for morning lows in the lower 70s through Sunday.

We are tracking a weak disturbance in the NE Gulf of Mexico that is forecast to drift westward.  Heavy rainfall is expected for SE Texas Sunday.
