A weak disturbance that helped to create showers and thundershowers in western Texas Friday is forecast to drift farther east into our area for Saturday and it should linger into Monday.
Look for scattered showers and thundershowers for our area for Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday. We will keep shower chances around for Monday. Partly cloudy skies and slim rain chances are expected for Tuesday through Friday.
Temperatures should still be above normal for this time of the year. Look for afternoon temperatures near 100 Saturday and in the middle 90s for Sunday. High temperatures in the middle to upper 90s are expected for Monday through Friday. Low temperatures should be in the middle 70s for the next several days.
