A nice Saturday evening in store across the Big Country with partly cloudy conditions expected. Eastern areas have a small chance for a shower or thunderstorm early on but that will quickly diminish with the setting sun. Overnight lows forecast to bottom out around 71 degrees.
Our Sunday will see temperatures rebounding into the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies once again. A very isolated shower or pop up thundershower cannot be ruled out but expecting most of us will stay dry throughout the day.
The start to the workweek on Monday will see tranquil conditions with temperatures edging warmer with highs getting into the lower to mid 90s. Mostly sunny skies are expected.
Tuesday we see a partly cloudy sky shaping up with an isolated thunderstorm possible later in the day. Not expecting widespread rainfall and not expecting severe weather to occur. Temps again should reach near 95 degrees.
Wednesday through Friday appear very quiet from any precipitation as a ridge builds in from the west and precludes any upward motion in the atmosphere minimizing the threat for any rainfall. Looking at mostly sunny skies each day with temperatures running into the mid to upper 90s. Better chances for wet weather may arrive next weekend as models are hinting at a cold front approaching the area bringing with it the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. We will watch this in the coming days.
