We are tracking an upper level disturbance and a weak cold front that are forecast to move into our northern areas Thursday evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop late Thursday afternoon and move southeast.
Initially, large hail is the main danger from the early storms. There are indications that we could see a line of severe storms develop and sweep eastward through much of the Big Country Thursday evening. Damaging winds could be expected.
Showery skies are forecast for Friday under mostly cloudy skies. Another storm complex may from in the Panhandle Friday night. This system looks to move eastward into Oklahoma.
Late day thunderstorms will be possible for mainly our western areas Saturday and Sunday.
